DRP Training Service is a New York State Approved Training School committed to providing effective training courses in a professional and friendly atmosphere.
The following training courses are offered:
Bodyguard / Executive Protection
Course designed by a retired U.S. Secret Service Agent assigned to the Presidential Protective Detail.
Defensive Driving (DDC) - approved by the NYS Dept. of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
The six hour DDC is a fast, easy and inexpensive Point and Insurance Reduction Program sponsored by Empire Safety Council.
Defensive Tactics and Self-Defense.
Courses developed by PPCT for Law Enforcement personnel and private citizens.
Security Guard – NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS).
Training courses to obtain and maintain a NYS Security Guard License.
Developed by the Smith & Wesson Academy for Security, Military and Police.
Homeland Security (OHS).
Enhanced security training designed to improve skills in counter-terrorism.
Courses may be conveniently scheduled for businesses or organizations with training options available to meet specific needs.
Dana began his career in law enforcement as a U.S. Marine stationed in Washington, D.C. He was a NYS Correction Officer prior to becoming a New York State Trooper.
Upon retiring from the New York State Police, Dana began his second career as a Security and Law Enforcement Instructor. In addition, he is certified as an Instructor in the following areas.

- Handcuffing (Smith & Wesson Academy)
- Homeland Security (NYS OHS)
- Protection Officer (IFPO)

Dana has 29 years of law enforcement experience including 22 years as an Instructor. In addition to DRP Training Service, he teaches at local high schools and colleges.
